Nike Flyknit Roshe Run “Random Yarn Color” Pack

The designers at Nike continue to develop new ways to creatively innovate and integrate the latest technology with today’s reigning looks, as seen with production of the Nike Flyknit Roshe Run “Random Yarn Color” pack. The concept was conceived when Nike designers decided to randomly thread together 12 colors of excess yarn, which were left on spools from other Nike Flyknit models to craft the shoe uppers. As a result, no two pairs are alike. Furthermore, each half pair is distinct, creating a totally unique experience unlike any other that has been introduced to the shoe market. Kahuna Plans To Avoid “Wrist Fatigue” With New Algorithm For Smartwatch App Notifications

It sounds like the upcoming Apple Watch and other wearable gadgets are going to create a whole new avenue for apps to communicate with you — and that could get pretty annoying. At least, that’s the assumption at Kahuna, a Sequoia Capital-backed startup that helps mobile marketers test and automate their push notifications. I mean, excessive notifications can get annoying on your phone, too. But founder and CEO Adam Marchick suggested that with wearables devices, there’s a risk that (for example) you could go to the movies, turn off your phone like a conscientious moviegoer — but your smartwatch continues chiming “every five seconds” because you keep getting notifications. You don’t want to be that person. As the person sitting behind you at the theater, I don’t want you to be that person. And if you’re an app publisher or developer, you don’t want to be the one annoying your users in similar situations. Tango Music Pix Returns For Its Official Launch

Earlier this year, we noticed that Tango had released a new app to the App Store called “Tango Music Pix.” It let users combine photos from their phone with a songs from a streaming library to make intimate slideshows that you share with friends over Tango, Facebook, Twitter, or email. Shortly after that post, the app was taken down from the App Store. Today, Tango has officially re-released the app, which the messaging service is calling its first “sister application.” In a phone call, Tango vice president of strategy Chi-Chao Chang told TechCrunch that Tango Music Pix is the first product to come out of the company’s new Tango Labs effort, letting team members pitch ideas “complimenting the core goal of the messaging app.” What makes Music Pix an interesting compliment to Tango’s main app is that it doesn’t require you to log in with a Tango account. It’s very much so the opposite of Facebook’s strategy with Facebook Messenger — instead of forcing you to use it by removing its music-sharing features in the main app, Tango is simply offering something that people can try without feeling like they’re committing to anything. iOS App Store’s “Trending Searches” Section Shows Evidence Of Gaming

A new feature in Apple’s App Store for iOS 8 is a search section which displays “trending” searches below the search box – an area meant to highlight the popular apps of the moment. However, from an analysis of the apps which have been appearing on this page since its public debut, it seems some app publishers have already figured out how to game the system for their own ends. To be clear, we can only put forward speculation at this point, based on some odd behavior and sightings which seem to point towards evidence of publishers abusing this feature. But at this point, there’s nothing conclusive we can demonstrate in order to prove anything beyond a shadow of the doubt. (That may be difficult to ever do, though. For example, “proof” of app developers gaming the App Store’s charts is typically seen in odd spikes of download activity – in other words, the proof is in the pudding, as they say.) Café Kitsuné Tokyo Limited Edition "Kitsunefuku" Snacks

Maison Kitsuné has worked together with 500-year-old confectionary company Toraya to sell a limited quantity of Japanese Wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) from its café in Tokyo. The first kind ”Kitsunefuku”, is inspired by objects throughout the Kitsuné store and is made from Tsukune Imo (Yama Root) and Hokkaido Gozen-bean paste, while its eyes, ears and nose are carefully shaped by hand one-by-one. The “Tama Kitsune” snack uses rare white beans in the coating that are minced with a net, creating both white and golden brown bits, while the Ogura-bean coating demonstrates the fur of fox.
