Android fans wanting a touch of gold with their smartwatch — a la the Apple Watch — may be interested to learn of a fancy pants version of LG’s Watch Urbane. Priced at just $1,200, the LG Watch Urbane Luxe is a limited edition timepiece produced by LG and jeweler Reeds. AOL Acquires Photo And Messaging Startup Kanvas Labs

AOL is announcing another acquisition — Kanvas Labs, maker of mobile social apps. An AOL spokesperson told me that the company will continue to offer the existing Kanvas Labs products. Those include photo editing app Kanvas; Kanvas Keyboard, which allows users to add GIFs and stickers to their mobile conversations; and Kanvas for Messenger, which integrates the startup’s products into Facebook Messenger. There are plans to integrate Kanvas technology with AOL’s products, too. The startup said in February that the photo app had been installed 1 million times. Kanye West Says Everyone Will Get Yeezy’s If He Becomes President in 2020

After jokingly declaring his intention to run for office in a memorable acceptance speech at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye West was mobbed by paparazzi (as per usual) outside of Craig’s in West Hollywood when dining out with members of the Kardashian clan. Surely enough he was quizzed about his announcement at the event, and Mr. West humorously offered to get everyone a pair of his highly-coveted Yeezys if he did end up becoming President in 2020. Though he now admits he won’t actually be running for office, surely a number of sneakerheads would be voting for him just to get their hands on a pair. Article source:...
